Stephen G. Bell
Stephen G. Bell has been engaged exclusively in the private practice of law in Metropolitan St. Louis since his graduation from St. Louis University School of Law in 1982. Mr. Bell is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and the State of Illinois. He has been a member of the Missouri Bar since 1982 and the Illinois State Bar since 1983.
Mr. Bell is the recipient of the prestigious "AV" rating issued by Martindale-Hubbell.
He is a Sustaining Member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and a Member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Mr. Bell attended St. Louis University on an academic scholarship, where he completed the four-year Honors Program in three years, graduating magna cum laude with an Honor's Bachelor of Arts degree (1979) and with a Juris Doctorate degree from the St. Louis University School of Law (1982).
Born in Webster Groves, Mr. Bell is a life-long resident of St. Louis County. He resides in Town & Country with his wife and five sons.
Mr. Bell's civic and charitable service includes the following: Founder and President, DAKOTA, Inc., an organization serving families of children with disabilities; Member, Planning Commission, City of Webster Groves; Chairman, Health and Environmental Services Advisory Board, City of Webster Groves; Member, Missouri State Board, United Cerebral Palsy Association; Speaker, National Down Syndrome Congress; Instructor, Rockwood School District, Partners in Education Program; Chairman, The Proffitt Foundation, providing funding for education and healthcare; Chairman, Religious High Schools Foundation, providing financial aid for education; Member and Chairman of many boards, commissions, and sports clubs, including De Smet Jesuit High School, St. Clement of Rome, and Lou Fusz Soccer Club; attorney for many religious, charitable, and civic organizations.
